Class Details
You will learn tips, tricks and techniques from the experts. Our master chef, Smokin' Joe Jones will show you how to choose the right wood to create the perfect mix of flavors for your outdoor fare.You will receive hands-on experience preparing meats with marinades and rubs. The small class size assures you that you will get personal attention from our experts. Our special guest, a senior butcher and meat expert, will be discussing selection and preparing all cuts of meat. You'll even get a diagram of primal cuts, and meat buying and safety tips to take home.
Each student prepares a beef tri-tip, pork ribs, a whole chicken, salmon and links as Smokin' Joe supervises. A couple of hours later, after the meats are fully smoked, each student and guest are served the results of their labors, and take home what they cannot finish (usually a lot).
